Learn the Complete Process, One Level at a Time
Patients with joint, muscle, bite, or restorative concerns often present first in general dental practice.
These courses provide a structured pathway for learning how to recognize relevant findings, complete the examination, communicate with the patient, understand appliance design, adjust an orthotic, and manage the case over time.
Each level builds on the previous course, allowing you to develop the clinical process in the same order you will use it in practice.

Level 1
Screen, Examine & Diagnose
Build a repeatable approach to TMD screening, comprehensive examination, diagnostic records, case selection, and patient communication.
Learn to recognize the signs that may otherwise be missed during routine dental care and determine which cases to treat, monitor, or refer.

Level 2
Design Understanding & Orthotic Delivery
Learn how examination findings and clinical records influence mandibular position, bite registration, appliance design, delivery, and follow-up.
This level also explores TENS protocols, Occlusal Plane Position, the modified nightguard, and how to communicate treatment limitations clearly.

Level 3
Orthotic Adjustment
Develop the hands-on skills required to inspect, seat, adjust, reassess, and verify an orthotic through a complete clinical sequence.
Work through retention, static contacts, excursive guidance, marking media, TScan verification, and follow-up appointments.

Level 4
Mastery, Complications & Case Management
Develop stronger clinical judgment for non-responders, appliance complications, complex cases, phase-two decisions, and long-term management.
Participants submit documented cases in advance, allowing the course to focus on real clinical questions and decision-making.
